Our Journey

No Worries Red Umbrella Ltd was established in 2014, building on the success of No Worries Company Services, which has been supporting contractors with their accountancy needs since 2003. That background gives us over two decades of experience serving contractors and navigating the ever-changing landscape of IR35 and employment regulations.

We’re not new to this. We understand the challenges contractors face because we’ve been working alongside them for years — and we built our umbrella service to address the very problems we saw in the industry.

Meet Our Founders

Greg Hanton and Helen McMurtrie founded No Worries Red Umbrella, bringing with them extensive experience in contractor services. Beyond this umbrella venture, they also own No Worries Accounting and Capital City Accountancy, as well as the Joy Pilot accounting software platform.

Their philosophy is simple: disrupt the industry standard and deliver a superior service. They saw too many umbrella companies cutting corners, hiding fees, and leaving contractors in the dark — so they built something better.
